About this episode

Sean Salisbury discusses his journey from NFL quarterback to media personality and his insights on various topics including college recruiting and golf.

I met Sean Salisbury almost three decades ago in Bristol, Connecticut when he was a football analyst at ESPN. Sean was a quarterback in the NFL and CFL for over ten years who transitioned to television, pioneering the X-and-O breakdown style of analysis that is omnipresent today. He's been very successful in radio, including 8 years in morning drive in Houston, and now has two podcast projects: "Unpaved," daily on YouTube, and "The Findable Podcast," which focuses on golf. He's an entrepreneur, a QB coach, a counselor, and someone whose many opinions are informed by homework. This episode covers everything from legacy media to new media to college recruiting to NIL to Sean's real passion: golf.
