About this episode

Pastor Jacob Howell discusses the final words of 1 Thessalonians, emphasizing living a Spirit-open life and becoming more like Jesus.

In the final words of 1 Thessalonians, Paul calls us to live with a Spirit-open life—one that listens, discerns, obeys, and trusts God’s transforming work. We may resist the Spirit, but God remains faithful to sanctify us through and through. The goal isn’t simply to be used by God, but to become more like Jesus as the Spirit produces His character in us.
