About this episode
Clayton Caldwell discusses the Mets' call-up of AJ Ewing and potential trade moves to improve the team's offense ahead of their series against the Detroit Tigers.
The Mets have called up prospect AJ Ewing ahead of this week's series against the Detroit Tigers. Ewing, a 4th round pick in 2023, should play outfield for the club in their attempt to jumpstart a putrid offense. I'll give my take on the move and whether or not I think it will help. Also, there has been some discussions about the Mets making a trade for a big bat. Is that needed? What would that do? I'll give my opinion on who they should go after and what this team should do moving forward. Finally, I look ahead to the series vs the Tigers and discuss what I think will happen on Tuesday.
