407: She Escaped the Yoga Cult of a Guru Who Preyed on Women
About this episode
The episode explores the dark side of the Tara Yoga Center and its founder, Gregorian Bivolaru, who exploited women under the guise of spiritual enlightenment.
For many in London, the Tara Yoga Center seemed a friendly, welcoming environment for those seeking spiritual enlightenment. However, they would have no idea that its larger organization, MISA, was founded by an international criminal wanted for crimes related to sex trafficking, sexual coercion, and cult practices. His name was Gregorian Bivolaru, and for decades, he used his status as a spiritual guru to recruit young women for his own sexual pleasure and hold them in sex slavery to enrich his organization.
