DA Becton has dedicated her career to public service—serving more than 22 years as a judge in Contra Costa County, including as Presiding Judge, and since 2017 leading the District Attorney’s Office. She also made history as the first woman, first African American, and first person of color to serve as Contra Costa County District Attorney. Today, we’re talking about community safety, resources for families, and how youth and residents can stay engaged and informed.
