Tendai and Imara are overjoyed to welcome their twin lion cubs, Kaari and Kenyetta, into the wide, wonderful African Savannah. But when it’s time for the cubs’ first walk, Imara notices something different about Kenyetta—her legs won’t carry her the way her sister’s do. As they grow up and Kaari begins helping with the family’s newspaper business, Kenyetta feels left behind and unsure of her place in the pride. Kaari longs to show her sister that she is treasured, capable, and full of purpose. How can she help Kenyetta see the truth about her value?
