First taste Friday at Oasis: newbies, a lonely unicorn and my new courses

I take you with me on a date to Oasis for First Taste Friday, a couples-and-single-women-only night that I love because I enjoy seeing wide-eyed newcomers and the newbie-night energy. I’m hoping to enjoy the environment and maybe find that elusive unicorn while my partner and I look to accelerate our process. After 1 a.m. we head out, noting it wasn’t as busy as other couples nights; I only spotted one single unicorn and didn’t see anyone talk to her. We did a couple rounds upstairs and watched a memorable six-person, three-couple hookup that looked beautiful and interconnected, though every spot was taken.
