About this episode

Katrina Casaclang discusses her career in policing and her advocacy work in support services.

Katrina takes us through what she learned from her 13yr career with NSW Police, leaving at the rank of Sergeant. Her passion for helping those less fortunate is obvious through roles she's performed since Policing. SONDER is an organisation which provides individualised help & support for those affected by a critical incident in their workplace (this includes Police but also other organisations) & her role as a Forum Sentencing Facilitator was of significant interest to me. Forum Sentencing (managed by NSW Attorney General's Dept) is a restorative justice program which provides alternative sentencing options in local courts. Katrina now runs her own business, Valued Asset Coaching which helps organisations provide better leaders. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
