Trump has been doing his best to bypass Congress and the courts whenever he can. In this episode, we take stock of how far Trump has gone to consolidate power in the executive branch. In a recent example of executive power expanding, SCOTUS granted the president the right to fire independent Federal commissioners. Trump then removed ALL the board members of the Election Assistance Committee, an independent committee established by Congress to assist States during election time.
