Our first guest is Maryam Jazini Dorcheh, Senior Director of Litigation for Common Cause, and one of the lead attorneys challenging Trump’s $1.7 billion slush fund. Trump is setting up a $1.7 billion fund to compensate “victims” of President Biden’s so-called “lawfare,” including folks convicted of crimes related to January 6th. Some Republicans have spoken out against the fund, which faces legal challenges.
