Rather than dismissing those feelings, we are called to listen to them, then preach truth back to ourselves. Remembering what God has done in the past is one of the most powerful tools we have in seasons of spiritual dryness. Bringing honest, even raw questions before God is not a sign of weak faith. It is actually an act of trust. Feeling far from God does not mean He has moved. It means your soul is calling out for alignment.
