Now you know when you hear that unmistakable rhythm that pulsating beat it sends you straight to the dance floor this 1972 instrumental makes you want to get up and shake a leg released under the People Record label and strutting it stuff at number 29 on the R&B chart and brushing the pop Listings at number 95 “Past the Peas” is a testimony to the grooves that defined an era. The J.B.’s - James Brown’s own powerhouse band. The music invites everyone to the table to partake in the feast of rhythm.
