About this episode

Sebastian Morello discusses the impact of political decisions on the countryside and hunting traditions in England.

In the wake of a viral video showing a non-native man mindlessly destroying a dry stone wall, writer and huntsman Sebastian Morello joins Nina Power to discuss Labour’s continued attack on farmers, hunters and the countryside and how plans to build on the Greenbelt demonstrate a total incomprehension of the ways of the countryside, if not an outright desire to destroy ways of life that have survived for centuries. We discuss England’s hunting traditions, and why “nature” has become a dirty word for today’s politicians, who think nothing of erected wretched new builds over our green and pleasant land.
