About this episode
This episode discusses the rejection of Jesus as King and the significance of His suffering and grace in the face of injustice.
Jesus had performed miracles to fulfill Old Testament scripture, and in Mark 15:1-20, they think the only thing left for Him to do was enter Jerusalem and reestablish the nation of Israel. But Jesus was mocked, beaten, and killed, and He submitted Himself to it to gather us into eternity with Him. Sin mocks us and scourges our hearts, but Jesus offers grace and healing. Your King endured accusation. (v1-5) Your King endured injustice. (v6-14) Your King endured shame. (v15-20)
