About this episode

Melanie Goolsby discusses her career journey and the inspiration behind her new venture in content creation.

Melanie Goolsby joins her brother-in-law Kev for an episode that proves no one shows up quite like family. Melanie opens up about the unexpected turns in her career, from working at Cartoon Network, CNN and Netflix and being let go from a job she thought was secure. But what felt like a setback ultimately opened the door for her to pursue something even bigger. Melanie shares how an idea sparked by her sister, Melissa Fredericks, helped inspire her move into content creation and set her on an entirely new path. Keep up with Melanie and follow her on social media at @imnotalwayerbut. You can also hear more from Melanie alongside her sister Melissa on the Gin and Juice Podcast, available wherever you listen to podcasts.
