About this episode

Westley Morris shares his journey from heroin addiction in Kensington to 13 years of sobriety, highlighting the importance of support and personal development in recovery.

In this episode, Wes and I go deep on: * His last day drinking and drugging — and the moment he knew it was over * The reality of Kensington and North Philly, then and now * The genetics of addiction and why it runs in families * Why the 12 steps are the greatest personal development program ever created * Trying to fix a spiritual void with a physical thing — and why it never works * His mom's 1997 arrest, and how she taught him you can fall down and get back up * Life today…
