President Donald Trump welcomed the newly elected Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi to the White House on Tuesday. Trump said the United States is shifting toward economic partnerships with Iraq with a focus on oil and added that U.S. forces will leave the country by Sept. 30. Colin McDonald, the lead attorney of the National Fraud Enforcement Division, announced a $1 billion recovery from a crackdown on individuals and companies accused of violating U.S. trade and customs laws. Meta is facing a lawsuit over claims that artificial intelligence helped decide who the company would lay off.
