Steve Elkins discusses the changing meaning of freedom and his disillusionment with the government and the American Legion.

Redefining what Freedom means today. Those Rights and Freedoms that have been removed since I celebrated our Bicentennial . A government that tries to sell you that Less is More. Pledging Allegiance to the Flag and singing the National Anthem is difficult when you know the abuses and atrocities this government has carried out. My association with the American Legion may be coming to an end. I can not in good conscience stand up for either.
