About this episode

Jamie Glowacki shares a personal update about pausing the podcast and shifting towards more interactive content and community engagement.

This episode is a little different. It’s a personal update — and an honest look at where I am in my work right now. Over the past few months, I’ve been feeling something I can’t ignore anymore: This one-way conversation isn’t working for me. In this episode, I share: Why I’ve been skipping podcast episodes My recent hearing loss and tinnitus diagnosis Why content creation has started to feel draining The emotional toll of online criticism and “feedback” Why social media isn’t built for real conversation The problem with parasocial relationships Why I don’t want to monetize with ads And why I’m choosing to pause the podcast (for now) But this isn’t just about what I’m stepping away from. It’s about what I’m moving toward. After hosting live classes and group calls recently, something became really clear: I don’t want to talk at you anymore. I want to talk with you. So I’m shifting my work toward: More real-time conversations Live Zoom calls and community discussions A new membership space: Managing Modern Motherhood More intentional, sustainable content (including YouTube) This is a pivot. Not an ending — but a recalibration. If you’ve been here for a while, I appreciate you…
