Rebooting this season against Kent State and Andy Staples joins
About this episode
The episode discusses the upcoming game against Kent State, featuring Michael Hawkins Jr. as the starting quarterback and an interview with Andy Staples.
It's Kent State coming off a bye week. What a great time to reboot this season as Michael Hawkins Jr. gets the start for the injured John Mateer. While there has been much more talk about Dr. Shin this week than Kent, we're still looking ahead to the game this Saturday and a chance for Hawkins to impress. We're also catching up with On3's Andy Staples who was just in town for the Auburn game. Where does OU sit in the SEC in his eyes? And how good is OU's defense in his opinion? Brent Venables and Ben Arbuckle both share fond memories of Barry Switzer's dominant teams like the National Champion team of 1985 who will be celebrated this weekend in Norman. Lots of coverage on the team's approach getting back on the gridiron in this Gameday Preview. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
