Uniqueness of Red River Rivalry, Mateer status, add to the intrigue
About this episode
The episode discusses the injury report for the OU-Texas game and the significance of the Red River Rivalry.
The first injury report is out for OU-Texas and John Mateer is listed as questionable. Eddie and George breakdown what that means and where things head next. But players are used to this being a war regardless of who starts under center for the Sooners. Kobie McKinzie and Jaren Kanak talk about the uniqueness of this rivalry and what it's like to deal with such huge momentum swings during the Red River Rivalry. Javonnie Gibson has his first taste of the rivalry and everyone is wondering if he can step up and make an impact. The same can be said about Eli Bowen, who returned to action last week, but has been in this game and played well before. It's the biggest game of the year and maybe the biggest of the Brent Venables era considering where this team is sitting and where it has come from. It's OU-Texas. Gameday Preview.
