This week I sat down with Patrick Keeling, the 2026 Flogas Irish Men's Amateur Open Champion, plays out of Roganstown, currently on a golf scholarship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He flew home on a Monday, teed it up on a Thursday, shot a course record 62 on the Friday and holed the winning putt on Sunday afternoon. His name is now on a trophy alongside Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley. Then he drove straight to Portrush the next morning and finished top ten at the North of Ireland. Some week. We got into the full story and there is a lot in this one.
