A proper estate plan actually gives you control during your lifetime if you become unable to make financial or healthcare decisions.I also walk through the key documents that make up a complete estate plan, including: Revocable living trusts Financial powers of attorney (durable power of attorney) Advanced healthcare directives in California Choosing trustees and successor trustees Naming alternate decision-makers Why flexibility is essential in estate planning One of the biggest benefits of a revocable living trust is that it allows you to change your plan over time.
