About this episode
The episode explores the true meaning of Lent as a time for reflection and reorientation towards God's grace.
What is Lent really about? For some of us, Lent is an expression of sacrifice reserved for specific denominations. For others, it’s liturgical, unfamiliar, or even a tad bit confusing. But at the heart of Lent is not more doing— more giving up, more prayer, more reading, more acts of holy activity— it’s about being. Being aware of God’s infinite grace. Being filled with gratitude for the cross. Being led, as the psalmist says, in the way everlasting. So how do we do that? We slow down and reorient ourselves towards what matters most. In this opening episode, we begin a journey of reflection, repentance, and renewed dependence on Christ, as we intentionally prepare for Easter.
