She also explores contemporary and modern dance through original choreography and performance at Dalton. Equally compelling is her journalism journey. At just 12 years old, Lylah began anchoring for the nationally syndicated Teen Kids News, later earning an Emmy Award with the team in 2023. With a deep love for storytelling, history, art and design, Lylah channels her leadership as editor in chief of her school’s newspaper, The Daltonian, and director of her school’s Model United Nations conference, making her a powerful example of the next generation of multifaceted creators and communicators.
