About this episode

Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston recap the WNBA Week 1, discussing player performances, team dynamics, and early season predictions.

Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston are back on Post Moves and in your feed, catching up on everything from Mother’s Day to Ozzy possibly getting a sibling and trips to Lake Como, before diving into WNBA action. The Indiana Fever opened their season in a 107–104 loss to the Dallas Wings, with Aliyah Boston scoring 23, Kelsey Mitchell dropping a franchise-record 30, and Caitlin Clark continuing her historic run as the fastest point guard to reach 1,000 career points. Around the league, the Atlanta Dream rallied behind Allisha Gray, Angel Reese, and Te-Hina Paopao, Olivia Miles impressed in her debut, the New York Liberty secured an OT victory, and Chennedy Carter made an impact off the bench for the Aces. Candace and AB also break down early-season officiating, key roster moves like Natasha Cloud to the Chicago Sky and Tina Charles’ retirement, and share their early power rankings and award predictions. They have some fun with a game of Guess the WNBA player from their NBA 2K photos (we all know how those profiles turned out 😅), shout out the Oklahoma City Thunder’s undefeated postseason run, and wrap it up with fan questions.
