Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert discusses the ongoing conflict involving Israeli troops and Hezbollah, the impact of the US-Iran peace talks, and the threats posed by Hezbollah.
Israeli troops and Hezbollah have continued to exchange fire this week, further jeopardising the fragile ceasefire which took effect earlier this month. Lebanon's Health Ministry says at least 2,500 people have been killed and almost 8,000 wounded in the country since the start of the conflict. As peace talks between the US and Iran hit a stalemate, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Hezbollah still poses a threat and promises further strikes.
