In this video, I respond to Mohammed Hijab’s attack on Imam Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab رحمه الله. Rather than engaging with the evidences, the books, and the call itself, we often see a familiar tactic: attacking the caller in order to undermine the call. This is not a new approach. Throughout history, the opponents of the Prophets and reformers sought to discredit the messenger when they could not refute the message. The real question is not whether someone likes or dislikes Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab. The question is: Was his call a call to Tawhid? Was he calling people to worship Allah alone, abandon shirk, and return to the Qur’an and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf?
