The early church gives us a clear and consistent answer. Their message, seen throughout the book of Acts, was not built on emotion or preference but on a historical claim: Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again—and they were witnesses of it. The resurrection was not a side point; it was the foundation of their faith and the reason for their hope. This matters because the resurrection changes everything. It confronts the reality that we are not truly in control of our lives. We cannot avoid death or alter the deeper rules of existence.
