The mystery deepens. By the fall of 1975, reports of unidentified helicopters were exploding across Colorado. Deputies chased helicopters through Pueblo County. Ranchers watched unmarked aircraft hover over cattle at night. Bright searchlights swept across remote ranches in Alamosa, Costilla, Baca, Las Animas, Weld, Washington, and El Paso Counties.
