Ultimately, they are the rightful and unsurprising winners. They have now gone a record-breaking 38 matches unbeaten and conceded just one single goal all tournament. A genuinely superb defensive display. An Unpleasant Argentina: It has to be said, this Argentina side were a rather unpleasant bunch in the final. They were negative, cynical, and racked up the cards—culminating in Enzo Fernández being sent off deep into stoppage time and Leandro Paredes seeing red after the final whistle.
