Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel: "A Door into Ocean" and "The Highest Frontier". Their latest novel is " Minds in Transit ". With John W. Foster and Erik Zinser, they coauthor the textbook, Microbiology: An Evolving Science.
