Ian Oliver discusses the significance of Jesus' resurrection and the implications for faith and sacrificial love.
In this episode, Ian explains how our Savior bore the full weight of our guilt—beaten, bloodied, and forsaken—and cried, "It is finished" ( tetelestai ), because the debt was paid in full. But the story did not end at the grave: on Sunday the tomb was empty, Jesus was raised, and His appearances were convincing proof that death is defeated and our faith is not in vain. He reminds us to stop doubting and believe, to bring our questions to Him, and to trust the testimony God has given us. Let the price paid shape one concrete act of sacrificial love for a neighbor before next Sunday.
