Two men hang beside Jesus—both guilty, both broken, both moments away from eternity—but only one turns to Him in faith. With nothing left to offer, that man simply says, “Lord, remember me,” and Jesus responds with immediate mercy. This is the reality of the cross: grace is not earned, it is received. Because He lives, all fear is gone—even at the very end, it’s not too late.
