About this episode

Gianmarco Soresi discusses his experiences in comedy, contrasting the Edinburgh and US scenes, and his rise as a comedian.

The boays are joined by comedian Gianmarco Soresi. Gianmarco discusses his experience of Edinburgh Fringe & UK comedy scenes compared to his native U.S. circuit, explains how he’s become the new “enemy of the Rogansphere” for calling out their jokes as being lazy rather than “offensive”, and talks just what it takes to regularly turn over comedy material and put content out online. Plus, they discuss his recent “Roast of the Industry” at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, reflect on Gianmarco’s rise through social media to an international comedy star, and he gives Marc some overdue credit as a fellow obsessive workaholic. Gianmarco is at the Edinburgh Fringe playing McEwan Hall on Thursday 27th August.
