VOICEOVER The first round of the 2026 NBA Draft is officially in the books, and there were plenty of winners, surprises, and major questions heading into Round 2. The biggest headline? The Washington Wizards selected AJ Dybantsa with the No. 1 overall pick, signaling that the franchise believes they’ve found the centerpiece of their rebuild. Right behind them, the Utah Jazz landed elite guard Darryn Peterson, while the Memphis Grizzlies added Cameron Boozer to strengthen their young core.
