Sam Childers, widely known as “The Machine Gun Preacher,” is an American pastor, former outlaw biker, and humanitarian whose life story has inspired people around the world. After a troubled past marked by addiction, violence, and crime, he experienced a dramatic Christian conversion that changed the course of his life. He went on to dedicate himself to rescuing vulnerable children in war-torn East Africa, particularly in South Sudan and Uganda, where he founded children’s villages and orphanages through his ministry, Angels of East Africa . His extraordinary journey was portrayed in the 2011 film Machine Gun Preacher starring Gerard Butler . He joined Kieran in studio
