SITH UTR 674.fm podcast by MARKUS SCHWARZ [MOF Matter Of Fact, Guestrow GER] MARKUS SCHWARZ, born and raised in Güstrow (GER/ Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), first encountered the Wheels of Steel in the mid-90s. His passion for House, Techno, and Electro, rooted in the electronic underground sounds of Detroit, New York, and Chicago, quickly developed. His first gigs at illegal parties in 1998 deeply connected him to the local underground scene. In the 2000s, he left hishometown to broaden his horizons. After stints in southern Germany and Hamburg, hereturned to his roots six years ago and is now an integral part (CCO) of the Vinyl pressing plant MATTER OF FACT, which he founded together with his best friends, Andre Kronert and Daniel Slabschie. Over the years, he has played countless gigs in small but excellent underground clubs, not with the goal of launching a big career, but rather out of a love for the sound and the shared experiences that forged deep friendships. Always keeping up with the times but never forgetting his roots, he doesn't play regularly, focusing on the record pressing plant and his own productions, which will finally be released in the upcoming months.
