About this episode

Ryan Preece discusses his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Daytona with Corey LaJoie.

Ryan Preece joins Corey LaJoie fresh off the biggest win of his career: a dramatic Daytona Hail Mary that delivered his first points-paying NASCAR Cup Series victory and punched the No. 60 RFK Racing team into the Chase. Preece breaks down the final restart, why he knew he had “no friends” at Daytona, the fuel-saving strategy, and how he stayed in the fight after early damage. He also opens up about the years of betting on himself, the career moments that could have sent him back home to Connecticut, the people who helped keep his Cup dream alive, and what winning with Derrick Finley, Brad Keselowski, his family, and the entire RFK group meant to him. Plus, Corey and Ryan talk about RFK’s rise, Ford’s late-season speed, how simulation tools shape modern race cars, the confidence battle every Cup driver faces, and what Preece believes the No. 60 can accomplish in the Chase. They also build their dream plot for the new Days of Thunder, celebrate grassroots and short-track racing, check in with Ryan Flores from Italy, and react to the week's wildest racing memes.
