Hayes, MD, MPH, MSW, is an Assistant Professor of General Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center and the Clinical and Medical Director of the Drug User Health Clinic at OnPoint NYC — the site of one of the first publicly acknowledged overdose prevention centers in the United States. He trained in Internal Medicine at Montefiore after earning his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, and also holds master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Work.
