"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." —James 5:16 Without prayer, ministry becomes a human effort that is like the vapor, shadow, grass. It will not last–only burn up. It becomes a burden-an idol. Prayer causes the work you are engaged in to be eternal. Prayer opens people’s heart to the Redeemer. Prayer connects us to God so that His will is lived out on earth. Prayer preserves a people from destruction. It connects your spirit to the Fountain of great fruitfulness.
