Over time, they may absorb stress, feel responsible for your emotions, and become emotionally exhausted. That's not fair to them, or to you. Healthy support isn't about finding someone to carry your burden. It's about finding someone who helps you discover your own strength and your own solutions. Instead of asking, "Why is this happening to me?" try asking, "How can I move through this situation?" "What are my options?" "What can I learn from this experience?" These questions create self-awareness, personal responsibility, and emotional resilience.
