In June of 1973, the band Ad Astra is skyrocketing off of their chart topping single and first album of the brilliance of the lead singer, Moondust, their principal lyricist and songwriter. They've toured the UK, and there's talk of a US tour after the second album. It's the morning of their biggest concert yet, at the historic Rainbow theater. But Moondust is missing.
