About this episode

The hosts discuss plans for the upcoming season, listener suggestions, and their summer adventures.

On this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Chris, and Sids return for a pre-season catch-up as they look ahead to another year of football, guests, and complete podcast chaos. Fresh from a summer break, the lads swap stories from their latest adventures, including Pete's new obsession with barbecuing, why outdoor kitchens are harder to use than they look, and the ambitious plans for a 24-hour charity livestream that could become one of the biggest things TPCP has ever attempted. With the new football season just around the corner, the boys turn the episode over to you, reading through hundreds of listener suggestions for how the podcast could evolve. From crossover episodes and live tours to new weekly games, Sunday League commentary, bowling competitions and even a wives takeover, no idea is too ridiculous to escape discussion. Along the way they somehow find themselves defending the reputation of every bloke called Carl, pitching LeBron James as a regular feature, and putting Barack Obama on the ever-growing guest wishlist. The lads also reflect on just how far the podcast has come over the past decade, from recording in pubs to interviewing Oscar winners…
