About this episode

Gary Heseltine discusses the PRUFOS Police Database and the significance of police testimony in UFO sightings.

Gary Heseltine returns to That UFO Podcast to discuss the PRUFOS Police Database, an archive of UFO reports involving serving and retired British police officers. Gary, a former British Transport Police detective, explains why police testimony deserves serious attention, how he built the database, and what patterns appear across decades of reports. We discuss on-duty and off-duty sightings, witness stigma, cases involving multiple officers, and why trained observers may offer one of the most overlooked bodies of evidence in the UFO subject. We also get into some of the standout cases from the database, including historical sightings, multi-officer incidents, and the question of what this evidence might mean if it were viewed through the lens of a courtroom.
