This episode contains a letter written by John Newton updated into modern English which addresses the challenges we all find in deepening our relationship with God. He wrote it after one of his many visits to Yorkshire, where he had spent time with his friends and in churches seeing what God was doing there. You will see that even John Newton did not find this easy.
