Jenn Kokal discusses the relationship between faith and works as presented in James 2:14-26, clarifying misconceptions about faith and obedience.
True faith is about living out that faith through obedience and good works: James' message is often misunderstood as contradicting Paul's teachings - but here's why that is not the case. Faith without works is dead. Does this mean that works are necessary for salvation? Lip service to God is useless, just like telling someone in desperate need to "go in peace" without providing any help. Jenn encourages listeners to test every spirit and beware of false prophets who may appear to be doing good but are actually corrupt.
