About this episode

Brendan Schaub discusses strategies to defeat Dagestani fighters following a recent fight outcome.

Brendan Schaub breaks down the blueprint for beating the Dagestani fighting style after Song Yadong’s huge win over Umar Nurmagomedov. Brendan explains why trying to match elite Dagestani fighters wrestling-for-wrestling is the wrong approach — and why knockout power, pressure, takedown defense and making them work could be the key. Plus, Brendan reacts to the chaos after the fight involving Usman Nurmagomedov, what Umar’s loss means going forward, the UFC bantamweight title picture, Mike Perry’s injury, Dillon Danis pulling out, Tom Aspinall rumors, Jon Jones, Zabit Magomedsharipov and more from the MMA world.
