The third act of Roberto Martinez's Everton story, as demanded by the listeners, begins in the summer of 2015, as the Blues embark on a chaotic Capital One Cup run. Off the pitch, everyone at the club is affected by the untimely passing of Howard Kendall, the greatest Evertonian of all. On it, the team plays some genuinely exciting attacking football at times, but still can't string two wins together.
