Isaac Padilla discusses the intersection of Mexican culture and Catholic faith, focusing on the dangers of witchcraft and spiritual practices that conflict with Catholic beliefs.
This one's personal. I get into something that I think a lot of Mexican Catholics can relate to but nobody really talks about. Growing up in a culture where the faith is there but it's mixed with stuff that has no business being anywhere near it. Tarot cards, brujeria, spiritual practices that people don't even realize are straight up witchcraft. Sometimes they know exactly what they're doing. Sometimes they genuinely don't. Either way it opens doors that should never be opened. I share my own experience with a tarot reading and the spiritual warfare that came from it. Real stuff. And I talk about why this is such a specific attack on Mexican Catholics in particular. Mexico belongs to Our Lady. That's not just a saying. Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared there for a reason and the devil knows that. So he attacks it harder than anywhere else. I also get into the Cristero War and how that plays into all of this. The way the enemy has gone after Mexico and its people throughout history is not a coincidence. There's a pattern. And if you're Mexican and Catholic, you need to understand what you're actually up against.
